I purchased Texas Honey Moon last December 2002, and Honey arrived here in Illinois after a long trip, in January 2003. She was 21 months old. She has just been a delight, and amazed me how well she handled the trip, and how easily she settled in here. She was everything Elizabeth said she was, and more. She was well handled as a youngster and you could tell by how she handles everything. I have taken her to my school, where I am facility manager of a vet tech school. All the students were all over her and she loved the attention. She wants to be the center of attention, and loves people. My daughter Dana, who works with the mentally handicapped, bring people over and Honey is gentle and kind. I am always telling people, "Do you want to hear another cute Honey story?"
She loves her buddy, a 21 year old QH , Simon, that will be ponying her on the trails. And she loves to chase around her goat pal Valentine.
And I couldnt ask for a better breeder in Elizabeth, who is always willing to help with questions that I have. Thank you Elizabeth for my "Moon" baby!

The Kopplow’s asked if I had any opinions I’d like to offer the general public about the quality and character of their horses…
Well, I can (and have) written volumes about my experience. Lucky for you, all of it has been sent to Elizabeth at this point!
I will, however, offer the following (in the interest of brevity)…I bought the yearling Golden Ozark Moon ("Ozzie"). Beyond the fact that I love the way he’s put together and find that he moves beautifully, I am delighted to offer the following:
Ozzie is
- eager to please
- exceptionally willing to learn new things
- kind (to other horses and to people)
- intelligent (new gate latches were required)
- friendly (the critter’s a kid magnet)
- agile (Foxtrotter’s CAN jump…)
- affectionate (really cares that YOU care)
- plays well with others
- easy going and
- INTERESTED.
This guy really enjoys working with you, and that seems to be a hallmark of Prince Moon Beam babies. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Their conformation is a plus.
I can’t say enough good things about him – I really love that horse!

Hi Elizabeth,
Hi Elizabeth,
Here is Sandy. She is the sweetest horse that I have. She will be 2 next month and we will start her under saddle. I know it will be a pleasure. She is the easiest horse to handle that I have ever had the pleasure to be around
Thank-you, Daddy-Moon, for giving us such an angel!
Dear Elizabeth,
After a lifetime of horse ownership (I'm in my late 50's now) I have
only tried to breed one other horse before Ruby. We had no success, and
I spent a lot of money, so I just put having my own foal out of my
thoughts for many years.
But when my husband's horse (Ruby) was growing into such a beautiful
lady I thought I'd just look around for a nice Stallion (never believing
I would really do this). I was looking mainly for one that had a
fabulous, easy going personality, then a super gait, and good looks
would sure be a plus. In my wildest dreams I did not believe I would
ever find such a Stallion who had all of the above in spades and
imprinted his foals with his striking good looks, his fabulous gait and
his extreme generosity of spirit.
I looked at Moon's Website for many weeks before I got the nerve to
call. I was in California and you guys are all the way over there in
Texas! After talking to you and my Vet about Artificial Insemination,
I thought it was worth a last try. You were so great with all of your
information and counseling during the AI experience and all the way
throughout Ruby's pregnancy. If you hadn't spent the time bringing me
along, I don't think I would have had the nerve to do it.
Now I have the most precious, beautiful yearling, who is my pride and
joy. He has all the Moon traits and still comes running to me each day
when I go to the pasture. I can't thank you enough, ever!
Sincerely, Linda Van Gundy, Three Rivers, Ca.
Thanks E
Howdy Everyone!
I have spent several hours and days thinking about what I could ad to EK's Web Site....
After all I have been a Moon fan before there was Moon fans!!!!
Then I realized it would be easy to extol on Moon and his offspring. They are the kind of horses that
everyone, no matter what discipline can train, enjoy and excel with. Added Bonus, with Moon you know
you will always get beautiful color and confirmation!
Lest we forget who had the foresight to see and promote this wonderful stallion! Elizabeth Kopplow is a
true Horsewoman. She is not only a gifted gaited horse trainer but she KNOWS horses and saw in Prince
Moonbeam a future that includes all breeds and disciplines. We can hope that more breeders will follow her
steps and be willing to go outside the show ring, the crowd and the limited opinion of one breed and offer
the horse world such a wonderful horse as well as her knowledge and kind attention to all who enter her
gate in Sequin

Where do we begin? You are more than welcome to use any photo's of our
Beamers. And our trainer, Starla, said you could print her letter about
Shinner. Speaking of Shinner, I got up yesterday and thought, Mmm today
may be a good day to ride. I saddled, bridled and rode....... Shinner!
He's never had a bit in, took it perfect, and never been rode w/o
Russell leading him, and he did great. Didn't know what I was asking at
first, but figured it out and we rode around for a good half hour. Sooo,
he will be saving me money on training bill!
